Tiiiiiiiiiiiiimber!

The Harris' and us have a tradition to go and chop down our Christmas trees. We go up Immigration/Strawberry Canyon. We all crammed into the truck. Owen got to sit up front with us and Amy, Jason, and Nixon were in the back. Owen liked sitting up front in Uncle Steve's "weird" truck.

I love it when it's snowing while we chop down our trees, but this year we had a clear, blue sky and not a lot of snow on the ground to tromp through. But it was still fun!

Steve found our tree pretty quickly, but I wouldn't let him chop it down so soon. I wanted to make sure there wasn't a better one. So we walked around for a while more, but ended up going back to the one Steve found.

TIMBER!

Nixon had a pretty good time chopping down his first Christmas tree. Next year, we will have our baby to bring along too!

Here we are with our tree

We ate lunch in Preston afterwards and then went to see the reindeer (I don't know why I didn't take a picture).
Then Steve and Jason loaded our tree into our house. Here they both are screwing it into the base.
I got showered and delivered Amy and Jason's tree to them and then went to "Where the Wild Things Are" with my family. Then we all just hung out at mom and dad's for awhile (the Copes came late Thanksgiving night for door busting and the weekend). I brought Alexa and Alex home for a sleepover.
