Harper has had a cough for about a week and a half now. She doesn't cough a ton, but when she does, it sounds pretty bad. She's also been congested. And her right eye (with the blocked duct) has been more goobery than usual and her left eye has also been goobery. She acts normal and hasn't had a fever, but Steve said that I should probably call the doctor. They were able to fit her in today after I got off work. Turns out, she has strep, which is pretty uncommon for babies. He looked at her throat and said she's got puss, but everything else looked normal and he said she doesn't look sick just by looking at her. He gave her some amoxicillin and some eye drops. I gave her her first dose of medicine after her last bottle and she actually enjoyed it. She didn't love her eye drops though. After her first one, she didn't cry or anything but she kept her eyes shut and turned her head to the side, I think she was faking sleep so I couldn't give her the drop in her other eye.
She also hasn't been a big fan of her tummy time lately. She rolled over for the first time a couple weeks ago and hasn't done it again since, but we keep trying.
I also had to sign my first incident report at daycare today. She got little beat up. I guess she was sitting in a bumbo and another little girl came up to her and scratched her cheek. It was pretty bad and she cried pretty hard for a couple minutes.

Poor girl! That scratch is so sad. Deegan just got his first ear infection. It was awful! He had a fever of 102 for like 3 days! And you are lucky she liked the amoxicillan. Deegan was not a fan so giving it to him for 10 days was no fun. I hope she feels better soon!
