Preston Arenacross

As mentioned earlier, Jake, Harper, and I left Bear Lake early to watch Steve race in the Preston Arenacross. We stopped at my house so I could get semi-ready (we stayed at Bear Lake a little longer than we should have, but it's okay). Dave came and picked up Jake at my house and they went to get a seat while I finished getting ready.

They had qualifying races earlier today that we missed. Steve got 4th out of 6th place in that race. I was bummed that I didn't get to see it. He raced in the over 30 amateur class. The main events started at 7:00, Harper and I got there a little late, but we didn't miss much. Steve raced close to the end, so he sat by us most of the race.

Harper was so good and content the whole night. I think she made it about halfway through Steve's race and then she couldn't keep her eyes open anymore!

I didn't take any pictures of the race because I couldn't get a good enough setting on my camera to take a decent picture (I practiced on the race just before Steve's). Steve started out great! He got into third place then about halfway through he got burned out, so he just took the rest of the race easy and got 4th. He had fun though and we all had fun watching him!
