Merle Haggard

We took Vaughn and Gwen to Wendover to the Merle Haggard concert. My parents and Monica tended Harper.

Steve loves Merle Haggard and has got me to like some of his songs.

We ate dinner at a way-too-expensive steakhouse, but our options were limited and Steve wanted something good. It was good food, but definitely not worth the price.

After dinner, we went and got seated. It was our first time at the Peppermill, it was pretty nice. The seats were soft and cushy.
One of Merle's son's opened for him. And there was a little break and then Merle came out. It was a really short concert. It started at 7:00 and ended at like 9:00. It was still a little light outside when we left.
I couldn't get a very good picture, but that is Merle and one of his son's in the background that is like my age! Gross!
It was a good concert minus the drunk lady I was sitting by that would not stop talking to me. It was really uncomfortable! And there were some people that kept shouting things out that got really obnoxious.
The ride home went by pretty fast. We dropped Vaughn and Gwen off at the Park 'n Ride and then picked up Harper at my parent's house.
