Steve did a race in Mesquite today. He went down Thursday night and came home tonight. He got first in his class, so he was pretty excited about it. He just went down with some buddies. Harper and I weren't really invited! It's okay though cause I had school yesterday and today it's mom and dad's 40th anniversary and the Copes came up.
The plan was to surprise mom and dad with the whole family at Chuck-A-Rama at 1:30 (they didn't know the Copes would be here), it didn't really work out as well as we wanted, but that's okay. I picked up the 40 balloons Melanie ordered from Maceys. And we all got there about the same time.

After lunch, I ran a few errands, then we all went to "We Bought a Zoo" at 6:45. Harper was okay for the first part of the movie, then she got bored and her and Nixon ran down the stairs and in front of the theater. So we had to take them out for a bit. It was a pretty cute movie, but a little too long.
After the movie, we went to the Harris' house and Steve met us there, we just hung out for a bit, then we went home. Alexa came with us for a sleep over.
