Yesterday was my first day of student teaching. Actually, this week, I'm just observing/preparing, then next week I'll start teaching Food and Nutrition II 5th period. Then the next week, I'll pick up Adult Roles and Financial Literacy 2nd and 3rd period. I get 1st and 4th for prep. Tracey will teach 1st hour and it's ARFL, so I'll get to see how she teaches and just do the same thing, so that will be nice!
I know this picture is lame, but we were supposed to take a picture of ourselves in our classroom to post on our weekly discussions we have with all the Facs student teachers and our University supervisors.
I love being in the classroom, but I'm scared to death to start teaching! I really was trying to think up any excuse to get out of student teaching and still graduate. It is the most terrifying thing I've done in my life!
