Emergency Knee Surgery

McKall had to have emergency knee surgery today. (For some reason, I didn't take my camera in when we went to visit her in the hospital, so this is my most recent picture of her.) In short (and because of my bad memory), her knee started hurting on Sunday. After trips to Instacare, the ER (seven hours) and many tests, the doctors figured out that she had a staff infection in her knee (I don't remember the medical term for it). Within 45 minutes of discovering this, she was in surgery. They had to go into her knee and drain and scrape out the infection. She has a pick line IV from her arm to her heart, it is quite amazing how they do that. The surgery went well and McKall is doing good. She is a tough girl! We love you McKall!
