I had my doctor's appointment today - I'm kinda getting used to it now. Steve had work so he didn't go with me this time, but that's okay. I'm dilated to 2 cm today and the doctor said she could feel the baby's head - kinda creepy! But she said it's a good thing. Everything looked good. When she measured my belly, she said, "Not a stretch mark in sight." That is what I like to hear! I do have some on my back, but they aren't too bad, I'm hoping they'll fade and eventually disappear. The baby is feeling lower. I get cramps (what feel like menstrual cramps) a couple times a day, but they aren't bad. She said that she might strip my membranes at my next appointment - still not sure how I feel about that! I think I at least want to go to my due date, then after that, she can do what she needs to get me started. I think I'm ready for the baby, as far as having what I need to care for a newborn. And I'm ready to see her and snuggle her and love the crap out of her. I just want to get a little ahead in my chemistry class before I have the baby. I'm taking Chemistry (I have to for my major) online through Weber state. The structure of it is really nice, I can work ahead as much as I want (if only the motivation was there). But no late work is accepted, so I want to make sure that I'm ahead a couple assignments so I don't have to stress over chemistry while I'm in the hospital or as soon as I get home. I have a quiz and a lab due every week and only 4 exams (that only cover 3 chapters each) that I just have to take by certain dates. For the exams, I have to go to the Richmond library and have someone watch me take the exam, to make sure that I don't cheat. Kinda sucky, but it's nice I guess, and it's nice that I never have to show my face on campus for anything. I actually have my first test scheduled for tomorrow morning, so we'll see how it goes!
Still not sure on a name for the baby. I have a new one that I have liked for the past couple weeks. Harper Reed Summers. Harper is my mom's mom's maiden name and Reed is my mom's dad's name. Brinlie's middle name is Reed, so I'll have to check with her and Melanie if I can use it too. I really like it as a middle name. I still like Berkely, but Steve doesn't. He did say the other day that we could name her Berkely, but I don't want to if he doesn't love the name. I like Berkely Reed (just not sure if it's too close to Brinlie Reed) or Berkely Mae. (Another thing with Berkely is I don't know how I'd spell it: Berkely, Berkly, Berkeley, Berkley). And we still like Ruby Mae, Ruby Reed sounds kinda silly, but kinda cute. I guess we'll just have to see her and hopefully we'll know what we want to name her.

You are getting so close!!! Harper is SO SO cute! I have heard it once before and loved it. Ruby is also adorable. Not that my opinion matters. ha ha. I am so so excited to meet her. Probably not as excited as you! Deegan is excited to meet his girlfriend. ha ha. Kidding. But I hope they can be good friends. Can't wait to hear that she is hear!

Ruby Kubiak Summers! Isn't Kubiak what Monica used to call you? I like it.
I love Ruby. I love Harper. I am a little worried about it's(Harper) popularity right now, but it is a family name and so cute. I like Reed for a first name for a little dark, curly haired sweet pea. I like the spelling Burkleigh. hehehe. i like me. really i like Berkley spelled like that. I am not sure if you are asking for suggestions but Marge is a pretty good middle name and goes well with all of those. Think about it, let it swish around in your mouth a little...
