Last night, we had baby sleep in the nursery and I slept really good. The nurse came in to give me my pain med at 4:00 am, so I woke up for that, but then fell right back asleep. Then at 6:00 a guy came in to draw my blood, so I woke up for that and then fell asleep again. At 7:00 my nurse came in to check on me and woke Steve up, so we just stayed up after that. I nibbled on my breakfast they brought me and then got in the shower. It was the best shower ever! Vaughn and Gwen came while I was in the shower and stayed for awhile. Right after they left, some of my family came and brought us donuts and a refill for breakfast. Owen really wanted to see baby Peach, so we took her to the window so he could look at her. In this picture, Owen is showing Peach her new little pig that was from Angela.

Steve feeding Peach. She does pretty good at eating. Some of it dribbles out the side of her mouth, but she tries her hardest.
Getting ready for a belch. She is quite the belcher (she got that from her mom - she learned well while in the womb)!
It was a pretty boring afternoon for us. We didn't have any visitors after my family left, so we didn't know what to do with ourselves. I was so sick of sitting on that bed, so I got up and did my hair. We took a couple laps around the hospital. Watched the programs on the hospital channel that they make you watch before you leave. Then Steve laid down for a nap and fell asleep. I couldn't decide if I was tired enough for a nap, so I looked at a magazine and decided to lay down and as soon as I did, my mom came. Then Rob came for a bit. Kamee was in the car with the kids, she wasn't feeling well, so she didn't come up.
After sitting there, bored all day, we decided that we would go home this evening. So we told the nurse and she was going to get everything ready for us. But she came back in and said that Peach's pediatrician wanted her to stay another night just to keep an eye on her. We were pretty bummed that we had to stay another night, but it turned out okay. After I found out that we were staying, I called my sisters and told them to bring games and come keep us company. This afternoon, we decided on what we would name baby Peach. We named her Harper Reed Summers. Harper is my mom's mom's maiden name, she passed away when my mom was a teenager. Reed is my mom's dad's name (it's actually his middle name, but it's what he went by), he passed away a few years ago. So that is where her name comes from.
Mom stayed all day. Monica, Alexa, and McKenzie came. They had all went to Texas Roadhouse for lunch and I guess Alexa and Kenzie had downed a few sugar packets, so they were pretty hyper. I had a little breakdown before they came, so it was fun to have them there to make me laugh! They are silly girls. I especially enjoyed when Alexa asked me if I had been crying and when I told her yes she asked, "Why? Was it because they didn't bring you your food on time?" (All during my pregnancy she thought that I was some sort of pig, which I probably was, but she sure got a kick out of it).

Scott and Amy came so my family left the room to give us time to visit with them.

After Scott and Amy left, we were alone in our room for awhile, so Steve and Harper had their first dance together.

Harper already has her daddy wrapped around her finger, I think it's cute!
I really love this picture

Harper and me

The rest of my sisters came a little later. I guess they had gone to almost every store in Logan looking for a cute preemie outfit for us to bring her home in. I think they said they found one, but Melanie forgot to bring it up to us!

Sisters (minus Amberly)

She pulls some pretty funny faces.

Nixon, Korver, and Brooklyn had to stay in the waiting room, so mom and Amberly were out there with them. Brooklyn wanted to see Harper again, so we took her to the window.
Brooklyn was trying to hold Korver up to see.

Cute Korver saying hi to his new cousin.
My family ended up staying until like 10:30 - 11:00. We enjoyed their company and they helped pass the time. We took Harper to the nursery again for the night. Steve missed her really bad after we dropped her off, but we needed to get our sleep.

That is so nice that all your fam could come! That was the hardest part for me. It got lonely being there for 9 days with no family able to come! But I understand it was to protect Deegan and all the other babies. And I totally know what you mean on the break downs!
Melissa! She is absolutely beatiful. I am glad that she is finally here! Can't wait to meet her sometime!
