This no longer belongs to my husband....
Steve sold his dirt bike a few weeks ago. I was completely shocked when he told me that he wanted to sell it. It was paid for, we didn't have to sell it or anything. Steve wanted to sell it. Since we've had Harper, he's been riding a few times and he just wasn't having fun anymore. He wasn't riding like normal and he said it's just not worth it anymore. I was totally fine with him selling it, but it's still a little shocking. Lucky for him, he found a buyer quick and if he ever gets the urge to take it for a spin, I'm sure he could. His sister, Amy, bought it for her husband for his birthday. Since Steve didn't have a hobby anymore, he was getting a little nervous about what he was going to do with his time. He had a bass guitar for a little bit in high school and has mentioned a time or two about wanting to learn how to play guitar. A few months ago, we had stopped in Ogden on our way home from Salt Lake at the Guitar Center to browse their selection. We also looked at KSM in Logan.
Well, as soon as we got paid for the bike, we were on our way back down to Ogden to get him a guitar! I'm excited about his new hobby. He's been teaching himself how to play and taking some lessons from a guy on youtube. He wants to take lessons from a live human being though.
Oh and Dave was even nice enough to let him borrow one of his amps (it sure sounds awesome when he's practicing his chords)! That is next on Steve's list to purchase.
I can't wait until he can play some songs (and until he buys me a drum set and we start our band).
