3 Months Old

Harper is 3 months old today!

Taking her morning nap.

We tried sitting up with the help of her boppy today...we're going to need to work on this. When I put her in it, she just flopped right back.

She did try to pull herself up, but needed a little help.

She did well balancing on one side while trying to eat the flower on her sweater.

Then we had some tummy time. She loves tummy time! She was smiling the biggest, open mouth smiles ever, but I couldn't get a picture at the right time.

Some things about Harper:

-She sticks her tongue out a lot

-She loves to smile and tell stories

-She still sometimes prefers to just lay on the ground by herself, although she has been a little more needy lately

-She loves to watch T.V.

-She takes shorter naps during the day

-She sleeps through the night (from about 9:30pm-9:30am). Occasionally she'll wake up at like 6:00am wanting her binky and usually falls back asleep

-She eats 5 oz every 3-5 hours

-She is in size 1 diapers

-She is in size 0-3 month clothes (except for the outfit she's wearing today is newborn)

-She is very good in the car

-She's starting to hold things in her hands

-She hates her in between burps when eating (we usually just give her the whole bottle now and burp her at the end)

-She can burp with her binky in her mouth

-She loves a good stretch when she wakes up and gets out of her car seat

-She loves to lounge with her dad

-I love being able to be home with her

For her 3 month birthday, I made her a car seat cover. I have been seeing these a lot at boutiques and they've been like $40. I just could not spend that kind of money on something "I could totally make myself." So I bought fabric, found this tutorial online, and whipped it up today. It took me the majority of the day, but I was quite impressed with myself.
