I started my new job today. I work at J & A Capital as an account manager. We give short-term, high-interest loans to people who have already had problems with debt and ruined their credit. We take incoming calls to answer any questions customers might have. And we also make outgoing calls and send emails to people to let them know they qualify and see if they're interested. We get their information from a sister company, so we're not just calling every name in the phone book. These people already have an idea of what is going on. I just watched today, but it seems like a good job. I got to pick my own hours. We're open from 7am-5pm, Mon-Fri. So I work Mon-Fri 7am-3pm. They are also going to let me go to school in the fall and are okay with me leaving in the middle of the day to go to class, so that is really nice. We get all the bank holidays off, so that is a bonus. There are only 4 other young girls that I work with (well and the two bosses, but I don't think they are there a whole lot and when they are, they kind of keep to themselves) and they seem really good to work with. We are taking Harper to Best Friends (a daycare for IHC employees, we got her in through Steve's mom). My sister and sister-in-laws have taken their kids there, so I know that it is a good daycare. It was pretty hard to leave Harper this morning, but I didn't even cry. It was really hard to have to wake her up to get her dressed and loaded in her carseat. She was so sweet though. She woke up nicely and just stretched the whole time I was getting her dressed. I thought she would fall asleep on the drive in, but she stayed awake the whole time. I feel bad having to wake her up, but she usually wakes up in the early morning anyway (but then falls back asleep). But I'd rather take her earlier and have more time with her after work. She did good today and was just playing in a little swing/bouncer when I went to pick her up.
I was kind of hoping for the summer off, but I've been looking and applying for jobs since January so it's nice to finally get an offer!

Congrats on the job! It is hard to leave them but it gets easier. I still have rough days and think about him pretty much all day long. ha ha. Updating my blog is pretty important to me because I check it just to see him! :) That is impressive that you didn't cry! I have heard good things about that daycare so thats cool you were able to get her in. We need to get together soon! I am so happy you are back to blogging. I have been wanting to see pics of sweet Harper!
