Denver

We headed to Denver today. When we got there, we checked into our hotel, then went exploring. The King Tut Museum was there so we went to that. It was cool, but I didn't think it was worth the money. It was disappointing at the end, because you expected to see the King Tut statue that was all over the advertisements for the museum, but it wasn't even there. Then we went to the 16th street mall (which Angela and Monica had talked up because they were there the week before) and we weren't really fans. We almost witnessed and possibly could have been a part of a gang fight. And the people there were just weird! There weren't really a ton of stores, except for a huge Forever 21 that Steve didn't let me spend much time at. We ate at Smash Burger there and it was really good, but we were also really hungry.
When we had had our fill of 16th street, we went back to the hotel for a bit.
Then we went and visited Steve's aunt Pam who lives 15 minutes away from the city, but our GPS took us about an hour to get there. She is remodeling her house, so we just took a little tour and visited with her for a little bit. We will be back to shower in her sweetest steam shower when it's all finished!
After visiting with Pam, we headed to Walmart and back to our hotel. There was like this huge office party going on in the lobby of our hotel, it was really weird. They had music cranked until like 2 am (luckily we couldn't hear it from our room).
