We went out this morning to start a sand box for Harper. It had rained all night and our neighbors have this wagon that got filled up with water, so Harper was just splashing around in it and I didn't really care because everything was wet outside and she was still in her pajamas. Then I turned around for a second and looked back at Harper and she had climbed in the wagon and was sitting down!
Then she thought she would taste the water. So I got her changed and then we went into town to buy some supplies.
We just did it simple, nothing fancy. Steve dug out grass for the boards, nailed the boards together, sprayed "Round Up" on the grass, plugged off the sprinkler head in the corner, laid down plastic, and shoveled the sand in. There was a lot of sand to shovel! It is a pretty big sandbox.
Harper took a nap and then came out when it was about half full. I think she liked it.
I got the train slide from a garage sale, so we put it in the sand box. Our neighbor, Porter kind of made fun of our sand box because it wasn't as cool as his, but once it was done, he loved it!
Porter had dug a little hole that Harper sat in and totally loved. She was like halfway laying back and she thought she was so tricky!
Melanie and Dave went to Park City for their anniversary that was last weekend. So Brooklyn and Kenzie slept over at our house. We watched, Something Borrowed in the theater room. Harper stayed up for most of it wandering around. She would not snuggle me, so she finally crashed on the pillow on the floor. It was too cute!

I think the sandbox is pretty sweet and serves its purpose. We need to do one for Deegan. That last pic of her is super cute.
