I couldn't resist!

Here's the story. A couple weeks ago, our oven in our apartment stopped working to it's full capability. We have Alex's baptism tomorrow and were asked to bring a "yummy dessert" so I wanted to make these delicious cookies, but it's kinda hard to bake in an oven where the bottom element doesn't work. The fix: I made the cookie dough after work today, then took the dough up to Richmond and baked them in our new oven! It was fun to try out. Sure, I could have made a "no bake" dessert, but I really wanted to try out the new oven. Finding space to set everything up was tricky seems how we don't have our counter tops in yet, but it worked. Oh, I needed a couple more cookie sheets so I went up to borrow some of my mom's and we talked mom and dad into coming with us. So here is mom helping me with the cookies. We baked 80 cookies with only 2 oven loads! I'll admit the convection didn't cook completely evenly, but I figure it works well with my family cause you have my mom who likes them more on the crispy side and my sister Monica who likes them a bit doughy and then there's the normal people who like them just right, so you get a little bit of all in one batch. Everyone wins!

I can't wait to come make cookies with you! When I made those cookies it took 5 pans and so that meant five oven trips. The people that think of stuff like this rock!
