So, guess who totally rocked the house...

Steve totally rocked the house and surprised me with a new foot pedal for our Rock Band drums.

A few weeks ago, we were playing and I was a little too hard on the foot pedal. It broke and I was so sad. So we ordered a replacement pedal, but when we hooked it up, it didn't work. So we have not been able to play rock band (with the drums, which are my favorite) for a while now.

We'd been talking about getting new wireless drums, or trading in our old instruments and getting the Rock Band 2 set. Like a lot of purchases that I make, I have to stew over it for a while before actually buying it. Steve is not the same way. He went to Best Buy on his way home from work and bought a new foot pedal that came with covers for the drums (so that they aren't as loud when you hit them) and black drum sticks.

We finally got to play after I went running, showered, and made cookies.
