Founder's Day is a big deal in Wellsville, so on Sunday night, we all slept at the Clark's house. Most of us got up early to run the 5/10K. It had rained pretty much all day Sunday so some of us were hoping the run would be cancelled, but it wasn't. We didn't get up early enough, so Angela, Rich, Melanie, Amberly, Kenzie, Alexa, Alex, and I were all late. Right when we got out of the van, the race started. So our times weren't accurate, not that it really matters for me. My goal was to at least jog the whole time and I did, so I was satisfied. I came in at 35:44.

Rich; Jason; Amy

Angela; Monica, Alexa, Melanie, Kenzie

Melanie and Alex; Jake
Monica was the only one that did the 10K. Rich was registered for it, but since we were late, he didn't know where to go, so he just did the 5K. At the end, Monica had caught up with Melanie, Amberly, Alexa, Kenzie, and Alex, and it started to pour. They all finished strong though! We stuck around for prizes. Some of us won stuff, nothing really great though.

These pictures were taken after the race, on the way back to the Clark's. I had left my camera in Angela's van for the race and then I rode home with mom, so they had fun with my camera!
Melanie made us some delicious scrambled eggs and toast and Steve made us his famous "Sheepherder's Hot Cocoa" We hung around the Clark's all morning, watched a couple movies, went for refills, then at like 1:30, Dave decided it was time for lunch. Mom and Dad took Alex, Jake, Brooklyn, and Brinlie to McDonald's to eat and play on the play land, they tried to go to a movie, but it was sold out so they ended up going to a big car sale in the Qwest parking lot. They had blow-up slides and a bounce house and stuff, so the kids enjoyed that. The rest of us went to Cafe Rio, then to Old Navy, Dollar Tree and up to mom and dad's.

Here is everyone that ran the race. My dad didn't run, but he was there to register all of us that were late and took pictures, so of course he talked himself into a free T-shirt!

That picture of Jas posing it up is so great! What a stud! Oh, and speaking of stud's...get a load of Alex in the background! That is the funniest thing ever! He is totally working it.
