We finally had our housewarming party with both of our families. Steve and I spent hours making the invitations. Almost everyone came. Rob and Kamee's family couldn't come because they've all been sick this week, Kennedy was at a friend's house, Scott didn't come, Grandma Hansen couldn't come cause she doesn't get around real well and she slept in today, and Michelle and Nick couldn't come cause they're in Europe. We had 38 people at our house! It was really fun. Amy came a little early to help me get ready. I had my dad grill us up some "Terry burgers." They are the best, except for tonight they were on weird buns (don't tell mom) and he didn't have his weber to work his magic on, but they were still good! Then everyone brought a salad or dessert. We dished up our food inside and then we all ate out on the driveway. I bought sidewalk chalk, bubbles, and a four square ball for the kids. But I think they liked playing the dirt the best. Alex, Max, Brooklyn, and Brinlie were playing in the dirt until grandpa saw them and told on them. Alex and Max were really freaking me out with the dirt on their faces. Steve's family bolted pretty early and my family stayed later. Annette and mom stayed and did the dishes. It was really fun to have everyone at our house. I love doing stuff like this.
Here are just some pictures I stole off of Angela's blog.
