Sleepover

On Saturday night, Alexa, Maddy (Alexa's friend), and McKenzie slept over at our house. We stopped at Wal Mart for hair dye, chocolate milk, and treats. When we got home, the girls showered and I dyed my hair and then we all played Rock Band until about 1:00 am. Then we set up beds in the living and turned on "The Devil Wears Prada" and fell asleep. Steve and I woke up early on Sunday morning to make breakfast for the girls. We made hash browns, bacon, eggs, and toast (I didn't have time to make pancakes.) They were all freezing in the morning and were bundled in their blankets as they ate breakfast. Alexa is a funny girl in the morning - she definitely needs time to fully wake up! She was saying some crazy things. We had to hurry to get ready for church and it doesn't help that our church is like 10 minutes away. We were about 15 minutes late. The girls went to Young Women's. We have Sacrament meeting last, it's weird. They read our memberships in Sacrament meeting today. It was funny cause we were all sitting there and the counselor bears his testimony and then he says, "I'll turn the time over to you to bear your testimonies" and we all just looked around at each other. Where the heck did July go?! I had no idea it was fast Sunday. I don't know why Steve or I didn't think of it. So I was like, "Sorry girls" and Kenzie was like, "It's okay, I don't fast anyway." When we got home from church, I made the girls muddy buddies and we finished The Devil Wears Prada. After that, the girls played Rock Band, I fell asleep on the couch, and Steve put away the dishes and cleaned up. Then we went to mom and dad's for a Terry burger, played badminton, played "American Idol" on the WII and ate peanut butter fingers. It was a fun day!

Sounds so fun!! About your blog issue...I don't really have any advice but when I picked my new background, it totally switched stuff around. I hated it but now I am used to it. I know that changing things can mess things up so I will probably not be changing mine too drastically for a while. See, told I had no advice! ha ha
