So, last night I went to deliver some invitations around my neighborhood for a lia sophia open house I'm doing next week. I swear everyone in Richmond owns at least one dog! I'm not a fan of dogs- never really have been (except for my friend Meghan's dog, Oliver). So I was on my bike and a lot of kids and parents were outside enjoying the long summer nights, so it was fun to meet some of my new neighbors, until I came upon one house that I was kinda sketchy of in the first place, but I decided to drop an invitation off anyway. I knew they had two dogs, but I figured with all the kids out, I'd be fine. Well, it was dark by this time and the house is on the corner, facing south (away from the sub-division) with a chain-link fence all the way around the yard, so the only way in was from the east side. So I sneak in the fence and walk around so I'm in the front now and out comes this tiny, ferocious-looking dog. I froze, we made eye contact, it started barking and coming toward me, so I screamed (pretty loud) and hauled butt out of there! It was on a leash, but I didn't know how long the leash was. I was so scared, I thought I was going to get attacked! So I hopped on my bike and high-tailed it home. I'm sure the owner's were outside across the street or something just watching me and laughing! It was so scary and I felt so embarrassed, because even though I didn't see anyone looking at me, I know someone was - someone is always watching!

I didn't know you were scared of dogs...I am sure someone DID see you and you are now the talk of the neighborhood, j/k but someone probably did see you because that is just the way things work out.
Sorry about that.
That was a good laugh! Thanks. Weren't you making fun of Monica and mom when we went on a walk in Richmond for being so scared of the BIG dog that was following them and licking my baby's face?!?! You're great sis and you for sure got caught and laughed at. I am sure someone will mention it to you at church or something...classic!
Hey I am glad you found me! I didn't know you guys had a blog! I am addicted so I will be checking often :) I think that is way funny that you are afraid of dogs, especially little ones! I will keep my little 4 pounder away from you whenever you come over so don't worry. :)
