Shutters

We finally got all of our shutters painted and hung. We got some up shortly after we moved in, but finally got around to finishing the rest. They didn't make them in black, so we just got white ones and painted them. That was quite a big project (from what I hear from Steve anyway, I didn't take part in this activity.) Instead of using the paint sprayer, he used spray paint in a can. Spray paint is weird how it goes on, but I think they turned out pretty good. In the two spare bedrooms, we kept them white, but everywhere else, they are black. It is amazing how dark it makes the house with them up. It makes it extra hard to wake up in the morning with the bedroom so dark.
