Girls (plus Alex and Max) Night

After Seven Peaks on Friday, we went to the Cope's house in Spanish Fork to get showered and then Steve dropped Alexa, Alex, and me off at The Training Table in Salt Lake. Mandi (my cousin) planned a little over-niter for her mom and invited us girls and our mom to go with. We ate dinner at the Training Table (thanks Melanie and Amy for nixing Chuck-a-Rama). When we got done with dinner, we were just in time for Channel 2 news. So we went and made fools of ourselves (as usual) outside the news studio. It was so windy and chilly! We were trying to think of everyone we could call to watch us on TV, so Mandi called her brother, Ryan and when the news was over, he called her back and said he saw a few of us on TV. Shauna Lake, Sterling Poulson, and Mark Koelbel came out for a picture with us. I thought that was nice of them. It was actually really cool to watch them do the news, with all the cameras and everything. The weather was really cool to watch. Dave Fox did the sports wearing his suit jacket, shorts (with shaved legs), and flip flops. A security guard had to come out and keep an eye on us so that one of our bare butts wouldn't be flashed on TV. He was really nice and he was the one that asked Shauna, Sterling, and Mark to come out for a picture. I'm sure they get sick of all the annoying people that come to watch them, but that's what they get for putting all those windows in their studio! I was hoping to see Roland, but he wasn't there that night. Amy took advantage of a great photo-op, she never lets one of those pass by! Then we went and checked in to Little America. Mandi booked two rooms for us, they were the ones with the conjoining doors, so that was nice. Alex stayed in one room and watched cartoons, while the rest of us went in the other room and watched the Olympics. Angela gave us all "Thank you" gifts for watching her kids this week. That was a fun surprise! I fell asleep on the bed and then they woke me up, so I moved to the floor and watched some more of the Olympics and then at like 3 am, they woke me up again and we all went to bed. Melanie had fallen asleep too and woke up just laughing at herself and then was so disgusted because, "I never wake up looking like this." It was quite funny.

We woke up at like 8:30 (thanks to Liola). Annette had bought us Dunford donuts - they are the best donuts ever! We were all showered and ready by 12:30, except for Mandi and Annette, who were still in bed. Mandi was going to stay and lay out and Annette was going to stay with her. So we all went shopping, we stopped at Mini's, the cutest cupcake shop ever, then we had to stop at Taffy Town, and then we went to the Gateway. I wasn't really in the mood to shop, but I was with my sisters, so of course I ended up spending money. The Copes had Rich's work party to go to so they left around 4. We said our good-byes at Gateway, and then mom, Melanie, Amy, Monica, Amberly and I headed to Ogden to eat at Texas Roadhouse. It was so good. They have the best rolls and cinnamon butter and you have to get a loaded sweet potato. YUM! We stopped at Target for a "short" stop that lasted about two hours. Then it was back to Cache Valley for us. Angela got some really good pictures that I'll post as soon as I can figure out how!
