The Bishopric came to visit us. When they first got to our house, the Bishop said that they just wanted to visit us for a little bit and get to know us. So we visited. Steve did most the talking out of the two of us, which was fine with me. I get intimidated easily, so in situations like this, I'm glad that Steve is a talker. We talked about the ward, our past church callings, dirt bikes, snowmobiles, random people, our jobs, families, and such. They ended up staying for over an hour, which was fine, but I thought they'd only stay for like 15 minutes. When they were getting ready to leave, Bishop Allen asked if we had any more questions for them and we didn't, so then one of the counselors was like, "Well, we still need to ask them something" and Bishop was like, "Oh yeah, I forgot." So they asked us to be primary teachers for the 9 year olds. We accepted the calling. The good thing is, there is another couple that also teaches that class, so we will only have to teach every other week. It's hard to join a new ward and get thrown into a calling where you can't really get to know people. That's what happened in our ward in North Logan. We taught the 4-5 year olds and it was actually really fun, but we only knew the people that were in the primary and then we moved. So this will give us a chance to go to Sunday School and R.S./Priest Quorum and I think that will be nice. At first, I was dreading going to a new ward, cause I'm not really outgoing, so I hate having to meet new people and stuff, but this ward has been really great. Everyone has been really friendly and our neighbors are all great so far.

Steve still goes to Preist Quorum? That is weird that you are married to a high school boy! Of course Jason pointed that out, so I had to laugh at you a little. I knew exactky what you meant and didn't even realize you meant to say Elder's. I hope you like your Primary kids. That will be fun!
that is good that you get the best of both worlds...i love being in the primary but it's nice to be able to go to RS and meet new people...food luck with the 9 year olds, you will do great!!
