Bear Lake

Harper and I picked Amberly up and headed over to bear lake. We met the Harris's there. The Clarks and mom and dad came later. Steve stayed home and surprised me with stuff around the house (he cleaned out the garage and hung our new family picture above the stairs), unfortunately I was still a little upset that he didn't go with us to let him know I appreciated it. It was a nice surprise though.

We stayed at the beach pretty late, then went to La Beau's for dinner. It was dark and cold by the time we got our food, so we ate fast and then headed home. I took Amberly to keep me company and I could have almost died and had Amberly and Harper kid-napped. So every Saturday night, my dad gets him and Amberly a refill to have for Sunday. So mom said to meet them at Foothill where they would get their refills. So as we're about to come out of the canyon, there's a gravel pull out on the right hand side of the road and I saw a truck that looked exactly like dad's (there's not too many of them around), so I was thinking it was weird that his truck would be parked there, so I pulled in and thought we would wait there for mom and dad so I wouldn't have to stop at Foothill. As I'm pulling in though the license plates kinda looked like Texas plates, so I went around back to look, but it was too dark, so then I went around to the driver side window to look inside to see if I could see any of dad's stuff, because I still couldn't figure out why dad's truck would be parked there. I almost opened the door as I was peering inside the window and all of a sudden, a head pops up! It looked like an older man. It scared me so bad, I screamed and ran as fast as I could to my car and hopped in, locked the doors, and sped off. My heart was racing! It was so so scary! So we went to Foothill and mom and dad were there so I told them my scary story. Then mom said she thought she saw Owen outside their car puking in the canyon, so she had me call Amy to see if it was him, but it turned out that it was Amy. She had gotten car sick, so she got out, but only dry heaved. Then I told her my story and she said that her and Jason see that man outside of Fresh Market a lot because they always think it's dad's truck and apparently he's a scary old man that they think is a total creeper! It was definitely an adventure and I'm sure glad I lived to tell the story!
