Brinlie Breaking Glass Plate

At the beginning of the summer Melanie asked her 6 year old daughter, Brinlie what her top 5 things to do this summer are, and this is was her list:

1. Jump on the tramp
2. Play with her friend
3. Play in the sprinklers
4. Break a glass plate
5. Sleep at Melissa's house
She completed the first three pretty early on in the summer and last night she completed her last two! She slept over at my house and she broke a glass plate in my driveway! I was super excited when Melanie told me I made her top 5! I told Brinlie that I would let her pick out a glass plate and she could break it at my house.
Last night we had to stop at Walmart on our way home so I let Brinlie pick out a plate and she couldn't wait until we got home to break it!

She totally loved it and now she wants to throw a glass plate at a car! I told her I wasn't sure if I could help her on that one!

We had a great sleepover last night with Brinlie. After she broke her plate, we had corn on the cob and BLT's for dinner.
I have tried several times to give Harper corn and she has never cared for it, but she really wanted to try our corn on the cob. I let her try mine and at first she just licked it then Steve gave her a piece with a few kernels left on it and she ate them. She was totally loving it!
We all had to shower, so we did that (not together). We cleaned up dinner and did the dishes. Brinlie played a Barbie game on the computer. Then Steve made us popcorn and we watched "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs" in the theater room.
We all fell asleep during the movie, but I woke up at the end and Steve and I carried the girls upstairs and got to bed a little before 1 am.
