Happy 4th of July!

So I wanted to do something fun for the 4th of July and all week I'd been asking Steve what he wanted to do, but he would just say, "I don't know, what do you want to do?" So I would say, "Go for a bike ride, go to Bear Lake, go to the pool" and he nixed all those ideas right away, but never came up with any on his own. So Friday morning arrived and I asked Steve again what he wanted to do...he gave the me same response he'd given me before. So I asked if he wanted to go up to my parent's house to run through the sprinklers (since we don't have a yard yet). He said that he would go and watch Owen and me, but he wouldn't run through them. So we went to mom and dad's and filled up the little pool for Owen and he didn't exactly love it like I was expecting or wanting him to. He just wanted to go inside and watch "Madagascar." So I just laid out in the front yard while Steve washed his truck. Don't worry, the neighbors are all used to us girls laying out in the front yard. It probably is kind of weird, but that's what we've always done cause that's where the best sunshine is! All I wanted was a tan that day, but that didn't happen cause I was only outside for probably a half hour.
