Happy Birthday Mom!

My mom is 55 years old today. We've kind of been celebrating her birthday since Friday. She's totally worth it! Here are 55 things I'd like to share about my mom:

1. She always has to please everyone

2. She has a great laugh

3. She's the most unselfish person I know

4. She cares about everyone's feelings

5. She doesn't talk bad about people

6. She's kind of a scary driver

7. She's a total pack rat, she won't throw anything away, because she might need it one day

8. She likes to bargain shop

9. She gave birth to 6 girls, no boys

10. She's friendly to everyone she comes in contact with

11. She loves Wayne Newton

12. She is very active in the church

13. She doesn't believe in going to the doctor

14. She could live off of Diet Coke and Popcorn

15. She spoils her grandchildren

16. She's an excellent cook

17. She is very patient

18. She has 3 sisters

19. She's a night owl

20. She loves a bubble bath and a good book

21. She hates feet!

22. She scares really easy

23. She loves to be needed

24. She's always willing to lend a hand

25. She's good at not answering questions

26. She has a strong testimony of the gospel

27. She's beautiful

28. She's always thinking of other people

29. She manages apartments

30. She's not a picky eater

31. She doesn't like food to go to waste, she'll have a belly ache, but still clean off all our plates so the food's not wasted

32. She's organized

33. She doesn't park in her garage cause it's chuck full of junk (treasures to her)

34. She gives my dad a very tight allowance

35. She loves "Dancing with the Stars"

36. She usually spends her entire Saturday running to all the grocery stores to get the best deals

37. She doesn't like to smile with her teeth for pictures

38. She's very supportive of her children

39. She's very tender-hearted

40. She gets headaches A LOT

41. She uses things until they are beyond repair, and then she uses them some more

42. She hates spiders and creepy, crawly things

43. She's very humble

44. She has a lot of friends

45. She has a hard time saying "No." (Except to us when we were teenagers!)

46. She has blonde hair and blue eyes, all of her daughters have brown hair and brown eyes

47. She loves to play games

48. She loves to go to movies, even though she usually offers to babysit while everyone else goes to the movie

49. She's smart

50. She'd never hurt anybody intentionally

51. She pulls freaky faces sometimes (where do you think we all got it from?)

52. She sometimes rocks out in the kitchen with me

53. She handles stress well

54. She used to always leave me notes in my bag when I had Hi-Lo competitions and stuff like that

55. She is a wonderful woman and anyone who knows her is lucky to know her!

Thanks for being such a great mom and teaching me so many things! I love spending time with you. Thanks for being such a good example. I hope to someday be as good a mom as you are!
