My birthday

Today is my 24th birthday - crazy! Mom, Amberly, and Melanie took me to lunch to the Olive Garden. After work, we had my party with my family. My mom still likes to make our birthday's special. She made funeral potatoes, ham, rolls, corn, and pistachio jello salad for dinner. It was delicious! I got a lot of good presents. I was a little worried about what I would be getting because Amy and Melanie kept talking about all these "treasures" and "trinkets" that they had got for me. But they turned out being great gifts! I got some home decor, a couple jackets, treats, work-out DVDs, 98 Degrees Christmas CD (I had it and loved it, but lost it), a hat, little snowman mixing bowls with a darling wire whisk, end tables, a bench, a cute little leprechaun (I don't know why Melanie loves these things so much, she got one for mom's birthday too and busted up laughing when she gave it to her).

Thanks everyone for all the gifts, text messages, phone calls, lunches, etc... I had a great birthday! Oh, and I blew out all my candles, so I can't wait for my wish to come true!!! We had Pumpkin Squares for dessert and they were delish!
