For Steve's birthday, he wanted to go ride his dirt bike on this track in Salt Lake. So I went down with him and watched him for awhile. It was fun to watch him. I took quite a few pictures, but these were my favorites.
The rest of this post is picture-less so if you don't want to continue reading, I understand.
Angela wanted to meet us all at Chuck-A-Rama (my mom's favorite) for Mother's day. So, I had her pick me up at the track and we met everyone else in Bountiful at the Chuck. All of our family was there except for Steve, Rich, Dave, and Dad. We were there for way too long (as usual).
We invited the Keller's but they weren't able to make it in time. Michelle was in town (she moved to Oregon) so she stopped by to visit with us for a little bit before meeting her in-laws for dinner. So that was fun to see her.
Steve and I got a hotel room for tonight for his birthday, so when he was done riding, he went and checked into the hotel, got showered, and came to Chuck-A-Rama to pick me up. We headed back to Salt Lake and went to the Gateway for a bit. Then we found a Best Buy and Steve used his birthday money from his parents and my parents to get new speakers for his truck.
Steve hadn't eaten dinner yet (or lunch for that matter) so we went to The Training Table to eat. I was still full from lunch, so I just got a drink and shared some of his delicious cheese fries.
We stayed at The Red Lion (thanks to priceline) and it wasn't too bad. I gave him my present, which was a T-shirt and a pair of shorts. He also bought a new hat at The Gateway for part of his present.
Just a few things about Steve:
-He loves to ride his dirt bike
-He is a hard worker
-He loves to splash around in the shower (making sure all the soap is off the walls)
-He could live off of Mt. Dew, Twizzlers, & Reese's Peanut Butter Cups
-He is a great uncle and loves to play with our nieces and nephews
-He is full of all sorts of random, useless knowledge
-He loves History
-He knows how to make me smile, especially when I want to be mad at him
-He is kind of accident prone
-He has a strong testimony and teaches me so much about the church
-He can quote pretty much any line from The Office
-He loves his dad's one-liners (and I'm sure he'll pass them on to our children)
-He is 29 years old
Thanks for all you of for me Steve. I hope your birthday was fabulous.
I love you!
