Happy Birthday Dad!

My dad turned 57 today! Only a few of us were there for his party: Melanie, Korver, Amy, Jason, Owen, Monica, Amberly, mom, and me. We had steaks and potatoes for dinner. I should have taken a picture of the big flank steak my mom tried to feed us. It was huge! She was just going to cut it up for us because that's what they do at the store (that's what she said). Since we were few in numbers, there were enough Rib-Eyes for us all. Sometimes my mom is crazy!

Guess who the Christmas and Easter M&M's are from.....yup my mom!

She was quite pleased with herself that it just brought her to tears.
He always asks for German Chocolate Cake. He didn't quite get all his candles out in one breath, but that's okay, he's getting old!
Happy Birthday Dad! Here's my shout out:
-He raised 6 girls (didn't get any sons)
-He retired from Cache Valley Bank a few weeks ago
-He is one of the hardest workers I know
-He loves to play with his grand kids
-He can't carry a tune to save his life
-He used to work in a bakery and can make a delicious pie crust
-He is always willing to help anyone with anything
-He is an awesome example
-He's easy going and is always up for anything
-He loves the show 24
We love you dad!
