Looking at all our stuff we packed, you'd think we were leaving for like a month rather than 4 days. I just don't know how to pack light.
We met at Rob and Kamee's house at 9:00 am, had a prayer and hit the road.
Here we all are caravanning down to Richfield. The drive took awhile. We made a few stops along the way: gas station, Lifetime Products, Cabela's, Wendy's, and gas station again.
The original plan was to go camping, but Amy nixed that idea and booked us all rooms at the Fairfield Inn Marriott. It was like the cutest hotel I have ever stayed in. Thanks Amy!
This is the carpet in the hallway. I love it! The lobby was decorated cute too, but I didn't take a picture.

While we were unloading, Scott made some friends down in the parking lot and they said there was a Honda shop on main street that has maps of all the trails. So we went there and got a map to figure out where we wanted to ride.
Then we went to the Days Inn restaurant on main street; The Tomatoe Vine. We were all very disappointed (not that our expectations were very high to begin with). The water tasted like butt. And Amy was dying for a steak and the waitress said they get compliments on their steak all the time....from who? Amy said it was the sickest steak she had ever had. I think the rest of us got the spaghetti and salad bar special. It was okay. There was a fireman convention in town, so they had a parade that we got to watch from the restaurant. So that was a bonus!
Marshall was my little pal. He kept wanting to jump to me, he started out on the stairs and then got brave enough to jump from the edge.
