P1 - 5w+1d

It's official!

According to Webmd, I was supposed to start my period on June 10. Since I've been off birth control, I get really bad cramps a couple days before my period. A few days before the 10th, I got small cramps periodically (nothing compared to normal). I was kind of bugged that I was going to be on my period while on our trip to Richfield with Steve's family. I packed plenty of tampons, but didn't end up using a single one! We left for our trip on the 11th. I kept waiting for aunt flow to show up, but she never did! Best news ever! We got home on Sunday, the 14th and I took a home pregnancy test. And now I'm excited and nervous and worried and happy!

I went off birth control in August of 2008. It took longer than I thought it would. I was really getting worried that something was wrong with one of us. I tried to stay positive.

So many different emotions already!

I'm nervous and I pray that the baby develops properly.

I'm so happy to start a family!

It doesn't feel real at all

I'm relieved that it finally happened

I'm trying to think of a creative way to tell everyone

Steve's reactions when I told him (not in this particular order):

-He gave me a high five followed by a hug

-He said, "Now I have to start worrying about the blessing"

-Now I don't have to feel like punching Jevan every day when he says how excited he is to go home to Jade (his baby)

-I'm not changing diapers (he was joking about that one, he will change diapers)
