Monica's Housewarming Party

Monica bought a townhouse in Smithfield a few months ago. She had her housewarming party tonight. We had pizza and ate it at the park that is just behind her townhouse.

After dinner, we played on this grassy hill right behind Monica's townhouse. The kids and Amberly loved rolling down it.

Amberly and Brooklyn are going back up for some more.
Brinlie is somersaulting wildly down the hill.

We got all the grandkids (nieces and nephews to me) lined up oldest to youngest:
Alexa Gowon (13), McKenzie Clark (12), Jake Clark (10), Alex Gowon (9), Brooklyn Clark (6), Brinlie Clark (4), Maxwell Cope (3), Owen Harris (2), Korver Clark (5 mo), and
Nixon Harris (2 mo)

It was hard to get a good picture. The kids couldn't stay still and the babies were both hating it.

Dad was sitting here with this pose forever just waiting for someone to take his picture (and he calls us vain)

It is pretty much impossible to get a good picture with my mom and dad together. My dad is very cooperative; it's the woman that makes it so difficult. It's hard enough to even get her close enough to my dad. And she always says she hates her smile, so she'll pull some weird face instead (which is fine, we love weird faces, but it would be nice to get a good one of her actually smiling).

This one is actually probably the best picture I have of the two of them together.

Staring off into the distance

When it got too dark for our photo shoot, we went in for some delicious Peaches and Cream that Angela made. I guess the Copes introduced her to the "real" Peaches and Cream using Half and Half instead of Milk.
It was tasty! I love fresh peaches!

It wouldn't be a party without Jason getting a hold of my camera!

It was a great party.
