I love Halloween and I really love Halloween decorations!
Amy and I were at Tai Pan the other weekend and saw the cutest witch's brooms.
As Amy's saying goes, "We could totally make that."
We looked for a price on the brooms, but couldn't find a tag, so we really had no other choice than to make our own.
We bought the twigs from Tai Pan when we were there.
Today, we went and bought the ribbon. Then we got lunch and were gonna go back to Amy's to eat, but she wanted to drive around a little bit to see if Owen would fall asleep. After lunch and Owen's nap, we were going to go up the canyon to look for sticks. While we were on our drive, we ended up on canyon road and found our sticks there. First Amy got out and searched for her stick. Then we drove a little more, eyeing the side of the road for sticks. Then I got out and got my stick. Unfortunately, we did not get any pictures of us rummaging for sticks on the side of the road.
We went to Amy's, ate lunch, and started our projects.
Oh, and I didn't love the stick I found, so Jason cut a branch off of the neighbor's tree that was hanging in their yard for me.
Right when we got started, we wondered why we were even doing this after our pain in the butt wreaths we made. But we had a good time.
I couldn't get my twigs to stay glued to my stick, so Amy had to help me a little, since she had already lost her fingerprints (she didn't think they were serious when they called it a hot glue gun)!
I'm not really sure what is going on here...

Thank you to these two cute boys for suffering so we could make our crafts! And thank you to Amy for not killing them (even though they were both really good).

Here is the finished product

I want to have it hanging from somewhere, but I don't know where yet.
Thank you Amy for always talking me into making crafts with you. We always have a good time doing them together. And thank you Satan for haunting our phones...
