Update on basement

Last week, Steve's friend came over and helped Steve put up the screen in the theater room.

Steve finished all he's doing on the electrical work last week. Here are the lights in the theater room. The guy doing the rest of the electrical was going to come finish up tonight, but couldn't make it, so it will hopefully be all done tomorrow afternoon!

RC Willey delivered our theater seating today! We went into RC Willey about a week before Thanksgiving and found the theater seating we wanted, but decided we'd think on it for a bit. It had one seat, a love seat, and then another single seat all connected. Then we went back to RC Willey on black Friday and were just going to go buy it along with other theater equipment we needed, but the lady at the door handed me an ad for the store, so I was flipping through it and saw this row of three seats that were on sale for an incredible price. So we got two rows of three seats for way cheaper than what we were going to pay for just the one row that we originally wanted. We were pretty excited about our deal - Merry Christmas to us!

Steve also finished putting the glass in the bar. Vaughn built us cabinet doors and came and installed them on Saturday, but Steve still needs to stain and lacquer them.

We didn't quite reach our goal of having the basement finished by Christmas, but that's okay. We could have had it done, but the carpet is taking longer than we expected. So all we have left is a little electrical work and carpet.
