Sleepover with Brinlie

I always ask Brinlie when she's going to sleep over at my house and she usually says something like, "never" or "I'm going to sleep at Monica's house" or "I don't want to sleep at your house." But on Sunday, we were playing hide and seek and had such a great time that she wanted to sleep over at our house that night. I told her we should have a sleepover on Thursday night because I don't work Fridays.

So, we finally had a sleepover! After work, I met Melanie at Brinlie's daycare and we walked in together and as soon as Brinlie saw us, she ran right past Melanie and gave me a hug. It was really cute! She had her princess suitcase all packed and ready, so we left from there. Brinlie played Barbie on the computer while I made us some Mac and Cheese for dinner. I had a lia sophia party last night and didn't get my jewelry put away, so she had a blast playing with it. We watched The Office, hung out, got ready for bed, and watched High School Musical 3 that Brinlie brought. We all fell asleep in the living room before the movie ended. I woke up and Steve and I went into bed and we left Brinlie on the couch.

Brinlie woke up at 4:00 am wanting her mom. I didn't hear her wake up, but for some reason I woke up and noticed Steve was gone and then I heard him out talking to her. I thought that was cute that he went out there with her. He gave up after awhile, so I went out there and held her and took her in with us. I was squished in the bed in between the two of them.

We had a good sleepover!
