Sleepover with Owen

After work on Thursday, I picked Owen up for a sleepover. He was excited to come home with me.

We watched The Office and Owen laughed really hard at the beginning of it. It was really cute. I was laughing more at Owen laughing than I was at The Office. Then we played for a little bit and went into bed. Owen wasn't tired, so I read him some Disney stories from his book he brought. Then he flipped through the book about 5 times just looking at the pictures. I turned the light off and it took awhile, but he finally fell asleep. Around midnight I woke up and moved him to our floor. Then at about 3:30am, he woke up, so I told him to come get in bed with us. He thrashed around tossing and turning for probably an hour. I was able to doze off during this, but I don't think he did. He kept tickling Steve's back with his feet. I felt bad for Steve cause he had to go to work the next morning and didn't sleep very well. Oh, and he had wanted to watch Sandlot before bed, but it had gotten too late, so I told him we'd watch it in the morning. While he was in bed with us at 3:30am, he kept saying "beast" and "Benny" he wanted to watch the Sandlot really bad.

When he wouldn't go to sleep, I finally got up with him and rocked him for awhile. I would rub his back and then stop and he would start to pat my back. It was so cute. He did it like 3 times. I finally got to put him down again at like 5:15 and he slept until about 8:30.

This is him in the morning watching the Sandlot. As soon as it ended, he wanted to watch it again. It was funny.

I got some cleaning done. Then we went to Dollar Tree in Smithfield to look for a vase. Owen loved looking at the toys. We had a fun time. He is a funny boy!
