Weekend Fun!

Friday

Brinlie didn't want to leave my house, but I needed to go to Providence to get my allergy shots and also the Cope's were here so I wanted to hang out with them. Melanie told me to bring Brinlie in to school, so the whole way in to Logan Brinlie would not talk to me. I asked her if she was mad at me, but she wouldn't say anything. I even bribed her with candy. Melanie met us in the parking lot at her work and was going to take her to school, but she called my mom to see if she could watch her. When Brinlie didn't have to go to school, she talked my ear off the whole way up to mom's. She is a funny girl!

Angela, Amy, Amberly and the kids were all on the front porch when we got there. It was a beautiful day! We stayed outside for awhile and dad grilled us a delicious hot dog. Then I went to get my allergy shots. We went to a couple stores and just hung out some more. We had Taco Salad for dinner.

Saturday

Steve went riding today down in Salt Lake. Angela, Rich, and Monica came to my house this morning so we could all go running together. Angela, Rich, and Alex slept at Monica's new house in Smithfield last night. Alex hung out at my house while we ran. Angela and I have a 1/2 marathon relay coming up so we thought we'd better get a little training in! It was fun to run altogether. We only ran 3 miles. It was a beautiful morning! When we got back to my house, Angela, Rich, and Monica left to go get showered and ready. Alex hung out at my house while I got ready. Then we went up to mom and dad's. Most of us went to Old Gristmill for lunch and then we did a little shopping. We went back to mom and dad's and played "Nertz" and had pizza for dinner. Steve came in for dinner. We were going to watch "Australia" but it is a long movie and it got too late to start it. Alexa came home with me for a sleepover. We started watching "Cars" that we had recorded from TV, but we all fell asleep pretty fast.

Sunday

I made cinnamon rolls for breakfast, we watched The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, then Steve and Alexa played Rock Band while I got in the shower. Then we all got ready for church. We have church at 1:00 and because of the Draper Temple Dedication, we only had Sacrament Meeting and that was shortened to one hour so they could get the building ready. After church, Alexa and I cleaned out my closets so that Alexa could take my old clothes to a "clothing swap" that she's having for young women's. We had a snack and then Alexa and I went to my mom and dad's. Steve came later for dinner.

We played "Nertz" and watched "Twilight" that Angela bought at midnight. We had a delicious "Terry burger" baked beans, and potato salad, for dinner. It was delicious! After dinner, we all just sat around and talked.

We had a fun weekend with family!
