15w+5d

I had my second doctor's appointment today. Steve came with me. The doctor asked me if I've felt the baby move yet. I felt some weird kind of flutter this morning before I got out of bed. I'm not sure if it was the baby or not, but I've never felt it before. We listened to the baby's heartbeat. Steve thought that was pretty weird. I forgot to ask how much weight I've gained, but the Dr. said my weight was good. She gave me a paper to read about what to expect and what should be going on. I was really disappointed to read that stretch mark creams don't work. So I asked her about it and she said it was true that they don't work. She said this one really expensive brand will lighten them, but not get rid of them. I've just bought Palmer's cocoa butter cream, but I think I'll still use it for peace of mind, if nothing else. We opted not to do the Down's Syndrome and Spina Bifida testing. I didn't have to get blood drawn today, so that was good.
We made my 20 week ultrasound appointment where we'll get to find out the sex! It's at the end of September and we can't wait!

I bet the flutter was the baby. The first couple times I was not sure but I decided I was going to just pretend it was the baby. Then when they got more noticeable I knew it was him. You will love it when it gets stronger!! I just love sitting at work and feeling him moving all over. It is the best!!!

Yeah, I am still going to use the cocoa butter cream because I have heard from a few people that it helps. Even if it just makes them less, that is fine by me!

i think the palmers belly butter or whatever it was called really helped for me...i don't have that many strtch marks and they are pretty light. i would keep using it because it is better than doing nothing!!! plus if you keep your skin soft it stretches better...that makes sense rigth?? can't wait to hear if your baby has a "package" or not!!!
