My sister, Amy, had her second baby tonight. They didn't find out the gender, until he was here, to show himself.

Amy let me be in there for the delivery and I'm not sure if I was more scared of seeing the birth, or of seeing these....
Her feet got sooooo swollen (in case you couldn't tell from the photo). I wanted to pop them with a pin. They freaked me out so much!
I really was nervous to be in there during delivery, but I thought it was cool too. I kept asking where I should stand/sit and what I should be doing. Luckily mom was in there to hold my hand. I was seriously more nervous than Amy was.
It was really neat to be in there. I thought it would freak me out, but it wasn't bad. I'm glad I got to see baby Nixon be born.

He is such a sweet baby and we are happy to have him in the family.Amy and Nixon both did awesome and we are grateful for their good health. We love you both!

thanks for being there with me sis. you made me laugh! i am glad you took a picture of my humongous, gigantic feet...i am so glad tehy did not stay like that! it's funny that the feet freaked you out more than a slimey, alienish little human coming out of my body did. love you!
You are hilarious Melissa. ha ha. I already have fat feet so I am worried what mine are going to do! Hopefully since it will be winter, maybe they won't get as big. I don't know if that even has anything to do with it. ha ha.
